『媽媽，我現在都不用貼膠帶了，眼睛也看得見了!』這是一位三歲先天性眼瞼下垂孩童術後一個月最常說的話。先天性眼瞼下垂孩童為了視力的發育，常在幼時需以膠帶把眼皮貼高或以護眼貼做遮眼，以預防或治療弱視。 這位三歲先天性眼瞼下垂孩童接受眼瞼下垂術後，連同伴的媽媽都注意到術後的小男生話變多了，也更有自信。
