Profile

Dr. Hsu Jenfu is an associate professor and specialist in pediatrics of Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, he also served as a medical expert in the Taiwan Hospital Association and be a medical counselor in Taiwan Taoyuan District Court. In 2016, Dr. Hsu won the prize of Best Service Physician and Medical Records of the Attending Physician of Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.

At present, he is the chief doctor of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the instructor of Reach Out and Read (ROR) and be a consultant of Taiwan Society of Pediatric Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine and the Institutional Review Board of Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. Since 2015, he also is a clinical guide instructor of Chang Gung University. In 2016, Dr. Hsu took Masters in Business Management Degree of National Taiwan University School.

Dr. Hsu’s specializing is in the science of Neonatology, newborn nutrition, treatment for premature babies, pediatric infectious disease, approach to pediatric chest and Microbiology.He worked as a researcher of research at the Texas Children's Hospital and Child Nutrition Center in America.

Now, Dr. Hsu does research in Study of molecular epidemiology, antifungal resistance of invasive candidiasis in children, and development of rapid detection for laboratory diagnosis. And Study of molecular epidemiology, antimicrobial resistance and clinical features of invasive group B streptococcus infection in Taiwan. He published manykinds of literature in International Journal of Medical.


Treatment Cases

Over the past 10 years, Dr. Hsu cared for 341 newborns who weighed less than 1500gm and 128 newborns whose weight were less than 1000gm. He cared for 291 premature infants who were born less than 30 weeks, and 165 born less than 28 weeks into gestation. Dr. Hsu has been doing a fine job caring for the premature babies.
