What is a visa?
A permission certificate or a stamp on a non-citizen applicant's passport to enter a particular country. To apply for a visa, you will need to locate a Taiwan Representative Office nearest you.
Types of Visas
1. Visitor, Business Visa: (effective for 7 to 30 days)
● Apply BEFORE arriving in Taiwan.
● For most patients, a visitor visa offers sufficient time to undergo any kind of medical checkups, examinations, and treatments. In the event that you are required to stay for longer than
1 month
, we will assist you in applying for a medical visa. To extend your stay, we will provide you with a formal certificate of diagnosis to request for time extension.
2. Landing Visa / Visa Exemption
● Complete the immigration card WHILE onboard the incoming flight.
● Citizens of some countries are eligible for landing visa or visa exemption, which permits individuals to enter Taiwan without prior visa application for a duration of 30 to 90 days.
